Employer Sponsorship: The applicant should secure a job offer from a US Employer. If an US Employer sponsors you, then the employer must file a petition with USCIS.
H-1B Petition Filing: The employer files the petition through Form I-129 and the documents need for that includes:
- Evidence which shows that an employee has a speciality occupation and that employee can perform that employment.
- A copy of official permission or licence for the proposed employee that they can perform occupation.
- Written contract copy between the employer and the proposed employee.

Visa Application: The proposed employee needs to complete the DS-160 Form. This form is the electronic visa application. For the application, the applicant needs to go to www.ceac.state.gov/genniv. The personal information, travel information, travel companions, previous US History, Address and Phone number, Passport, US Contact, Family, Work, Security and background information need to be filled, reviewed and submitted.
